Make Your Own Serving Board Workshop
Want to give someone a gift you made yourself this holiday season?
Or maybe you want to step back from the hectic holiday rush and get creative making something for yourself?
Over the course of the 4 hour work shop (from 10am until 2pm), you can expect to learn wood working terminology, how to safely and confidently use shop tools such as (but not limited to) the jointer, planer, mitre saw, drill press, palm sander, router and other hand sanding techniques.
We will take you through the steps to make your own cutting board from start to finish; from selecting your piece of wood, drawing your desired shape, through to the finishing touches.
All materials are supplied + a light snack (if your class is running through a meal time, please feel free to bring your own food)
Small class size for personalized attention and feedback.
This is a introductory/beginners session for people with little or no woodworking experience.
Must be 19+ to participate.
Workshop will take place at our 100 St. George Street studio.
If unable to attend the class, we require one month notice in order to receive a 95% refund (minus a 5% service fee)
Two weeks prior = 50% refund
Less than two weeks = unable to provide a refund
